Of this, more than four lakh petitions were received from across the state. Following the inauguration of MK Stalin as Chief Minister, a new department called “Chief Minister in Your Constituency” was set up to address these grievances.

In this context, Chief Minister MK Stalin posted on his Twitter account that 549 petitions have been fully resolved under the Chief Minister’s Department in your constituency. He said this on his Twitter page,Of the 4 lakh petitions received under the ‘Chief Minister in your constituency’ department, 70,000 petitions have been uploaded on the TNeGA website and texted to the beneficiaries. 549 petitions have been fully resolved. I gave orders to the beneficiaries! “.

According to a press release issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, “Once the petition is received on the website, a unique identification number will be issued and an SMS with the identification number will be sent to the petitioner.The District Officers will conduct a field inspection of each eligible petition in accordance with the details given in the petitions and its veracity and take all necessary steps to find an immediate solution.

So far, 549 petitions have been received from Chennai, Tiruvallur, Ranipettai, Vellore, Tiruvarur and Theni districts. To mark the commencement of the scheme, the Chief Minister personally invited ten beneficiaries and provided them with welfare assistance. ”
